When your Vipre license isn't working, you might be tempted to just ignore it. But that can cause more problems than it solves.

If you don't update the software, you'll be in violation of the terms of your agreement with Vipre. In fact, if you're not paying for your Vipre subscription and you're using it on someone else's computer, even if they are paying for it, they could report you as a violator and have your license revoked.

The only way to get around this is to pay for another license or buy a new computer. If that's not an option, then find out why your Vipre isn't working properly.

If it's because of a problem with the server itself, then there are some things you can do to try and fix it:

Check that there aren't any errors in any log files (usually located in Program Files (x86)\Vipre\Help\ServerLogs). You may need to reboot before these will start working again.

If all else fails, fix this issue by reinstalling Vipre from scratch by following this guide here .

1) Restart your computer.

2) Restart your modem/router.

3) Update Vipre and make sure it's up-to-date.

4) Make sure you have enough RAM (memory) in your computer. If it's an older model, you may need to upgrade the RAM to make sure your computer can use the latest version of Vipre.

5) Remove any unnecessary programs from your computer that are running in the background or slowing down the system. These include :browser plug-ins, video players, etc.
